Does the app report my position when it's in the background?

Yes. While you take part in a game, Paintball Commander keeps reporting your GPS position to your team even when the app is in the background, so your teammates and referees can see you on the map.

Is the GPS always on after I've started Paintball Commander?

No. To protect your battery, the GPS automatically turns off after about two hours of running in the background. Just reopen the app to resume position reporting.

The GPS consumes the battery - can I do something to reduce the battery usage?

You can connect a USB power bank to your phone to keep it charged during a long game.
